Audi Q5 2011 Luxury SUV Hybrid Car

The 2011 Audi Q5 ranked 1st in its class of luxury SUV consider the cost effectiveness of the diesel alternative and technology but the math is very different if they compare the figures for a U.S. and European release.

The new Audi Q5 is equipped with a turbocharged 2.0 Liter, four cylinder engine. The luxury vehicle also features an 8 speed Tiptronic automatic transmission. Quattro all wheel drive is another feature and Audi will feature a hybrid version in 2011, as well.

Audi engineers are planning to put a petrol-hybrid under the hood of the Q5. Since the features of the SUV are very similar to the platforms of the A5 and the A4, consumers may eventually get hybrid variants of them. Audi plans to release a Q5 hybrid with a combo of electric and turbocharged diesel powerplant.
