New Acura TL 2011 Luxury Sedan

The Acura TL is a mid size luxury four door sedan that is manufactured by Honda but marketed by Acura. Industry experts expect the 2011 Acura TL to look largely the same for the new model year.

The TL quickly became Acura’s best selling model and has also become the second best selling luxury sedan in the United States. In most auto review articles of the 2010 TL, critics complained of the sedan’s sub-par trunk space. For the TL to remain competitive, Acura may need to revise the trunk design for 2011.

The Acura TL has many competitors with brand names such as Audi, BMW, Cadillac, Infiniti, Jaguar, Lexus, Mercedes-Benz, Saab, and Volvo. All of the big names compete in this vehicle class. The prospect of a V8 engine option in the 2011 TL is an exciting one. A V8 option would make the Acura TL much more competitive as a luxury performance car. The engine that Acura is allegedly going to offer on the next TL is a massive 4.8-liter, 420-hp V8 that would make the TL a class leader in power.
